The main thing nowadays is the issue of "peace" everywhere in the world. When I attend international programs I am asked if my people are terrorists, as though all Muslims especially Pakistanis are terrorists. Really I’m very upset and disheartened now by hearing this from a lot of people and even very well educated people. We in Pakistan are peacekeepers. We believe in peace.

An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all. In simple words, a good leader has to have a heart that's bigger than his or her ego. Experience, skills, and intelligence can be developed over time, but if a leader does not feel for the people then there is not a single reason for him or her to be in the position to start with.
